A true humanitarian, Claire is known for creating safe places for people of all abilities to come together to be creative. Her ability to meet people on equal terms and form long lasting and trusting relationships empowers people to explore their creative abilities. Working across a range of community contexts, including a stint in the centre of Australian desert at Irrunytju in Western Australia, Claire was awarded the Guildhouse Artist in Residence at the United Communities U City facility in 2020. Six years on, Claire has developed a truly inclusive community art program.
